Sharing some more scenes from Atlanta

The Scott's show in Atlanta is held at the Atlanta Expo Center, two large buildings. Vendors (3300 of them) engulf the entire space in each building as well as the outside area of both.  There are shuttle buses between the two because I-285 separates the North building from the South building. The Scott's shows are very successful for most of the vendors we talked to.  One told us he's now limited his shows between Scott's and Roundtop in Texas because of the attendance and results.  We did both buildings inside and out in 2 days, but easily could have taken longer.  Both Angie and I took "wish lists" so skimmed over the European and high end antiques, though that was difficult to do because even the vendors' booths that did not interest us this trip always had something.....a painting, print, book, letter, frame, clock......something that would draw us in.  There are small cafeteria style restaurants set up in both buildings so no need to leave for a meal. And the entrance fee??? $5.00 gets you in all 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, just keep your ticket.........parking is free. There are porters available to help cart large pieces to your vehicle.

Scott's is now at the top of my fantasy "must-do" list! That entry fee is a steal and sounds like a fabulous place to treasure hunt. Can't think of anything better than sharing an adventure like this with your daughter!
